As we move through the winter season, at Devhd we continue our commitment to supporting those who need it most. This year, our focus remains on bringing care and support to children, the elderly, and animals, extending our impact both locally and globally.
Supporting children and the elderly in Romania
We’re proud to continue our partnership with Fundația Regală Margareta a României through two key initiatives. As part of the “Fondul Special pentru Copii”, we’re contributing to improving the living conditions of a family in need—parents with three children. The foundation will provide them with items to help heat their home, including a stove, bed, mattress, blankets, and other essentials to ensure a warmer and more comfortable winter.
Meanwhile, through the “Fondul Special pentru Vârstnici”, we are contributing to the foundation’s efforts to assist elderly individuals in Bucharest. Today, on December 18th, we supported their initiative to complete 100 care packages, an effort we’ve been proud to join for the past two years. These packages help bring comfort and much-needed support to seniors in the community during the holiday season.
Caring for abandoned animals
Our commitment to animal welfare continues through our collaboration with Negri’s Place, a shelter that provides care for over 200 abandoned or abused animals. This winter, the organization faces the challenges of relocation, and Devhd’s support will help cover essential costs such as food and vaccinations, ensuring these animals continue to receive proper care.
Reaching beyond borders
This winter, we’ve also expanded our efforts beyond Romania, supporting global initiatives to bring hope to communities in need.
- In Peru, we’re collaborating with kind-hearted individuals who will travel to a remote Amazon village this weekend to distribute care packages to children.
- Together with Asociația Oxigen, we’re preparing packages for communities in Uganda, which will be delivered in January. These initiatives reflect our belief that kindness knows no borders and that small actions can create meaningful change.
