Meet Liviu-Mădălin Popescu, one of the young talents who joined us two and a half years ago through the STAR | Devhd program, our initiative for training and mentoring aspiring IT professionals. Out of five graduates, four started their ServiceNow journey as part of the Devhd team — including Mădălin.
Mădălin is a ServiceNow Developer and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree at POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest in Advanced Techniques for Digital Imaging. During the STAR program, he gained hands-on experience that helped him transition from study to real ServiceNow client work.
Known for being approachable and cheerful, Mădălin brings positive energy to the team while staying dependable and organized in his work. Day to day, he focuses on building automations and applications that help clients improve their services and streamline their processes. He also takes on troubleshooting tasks, asks questions, and tries different approaches to find the best solution — often with a touch of humor that lightens the challenging moments.
What keeps him motivated is solving real problems that make people’s work easier. He’s especially drawn to automation and optimization projects where the impact is visible: less manual work, clearer processes, and happier users.
What he likes most about Devhd is the team spirit. For Mădălin, having supportive colleagues who share their knowledge makes learning less intimidating and progress faster.
Outside of work, he’s sporty and car-curious: football, tennis, biking, gym sessions, visiting car exhibitions, and following motorsport (Formula 1 and rally). He also enjoys traveling and hiking — activities that recharge him and allow him to explore new places.
We’re glad to have Mădălin on board — with his ambition, steady curiosity, and a positive attitude that makes him a great teammate. His Super-Now-Powers are all about optimism, organization, and continuous improvement.
